This was the final leader (Editorial) in the 04 January 1935 edition of the Bon Accord and it appears to have been written by Barrowsgate. Barrowsgate suggests that the BBC’s policy of only using the “BBC accent” threatened to put an end to the use of Doric.

Barrowsgate remembers his old schoolteacher with affection. Published in the London Scottish Regimental Gazette. This previously appeared in the Bon Accord on 04 August 1933 as “Oor Dominie”
