Barrowsgate wrote this amusing verse for a Murray family get-together (Mrs B was, of course, Janet Murray). It was held in October 1956 at Inchmarlo School, where Chrissy Murray was the Headteacher.

This was quite a significant event. All seven Murray siblings attended, with a combined age (as Barrowsgate observes) of 467 years. It would be their last complete gathering, as Maria died two years later. The Adam Taylor in the photo was the Adam mentioned in the verse Thrashin’ Day at Barrowsgate.
